Dr. Duvet - Pillow
Depending on demand, our Dr Duvet service can take up to 2 weeks to be completed once the item has been received.
We offer the following pillow services:
- WASH 'N LOFT - PILLOW
Your pillow is first being washed using environmentally friendly detergent, then dried and lofted. Afterwards your pillow is inspected and reported on.
- STANDARD REJUVENATION - PILLOW
The case is emptied and the feather and down filling is processed in a steam cleaning refurbishing machine at over 130°C containing antistatic, sanitizing and loft restoration properties. While this operation is being undertaken, the casing is being washed using environmentally friendly detergent.
- RECASE ONLY - PILLOW
The fill is removed and transferred to a new case after it has been inspected.
- RECASE AND REJUVENATE - PILLOW
In addition to recasing the pillow, the feather and down is cleaned and sanitised (see "Standard Rejuvenation" above for details on the cleaning process).
- ADDITIONAL FILL (cannot be pre-purchased on the internet)
This option is for those who would like to top up the weight or fluff of their duvet or pillow.

PO BOX ADDRESSES
Unfortunately PO Box addresses are not accepted for orders & your parcel will be returned to sender (us) if the delivery address is a PO Box.
CUSTOM OR IMPORT DUTY FEES
Custom or import duty fees are sometimes charged once the parcel reaches the destination country and must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. These charges will vary widely from country to country and will depend on your parcels weight and size. Although rare, we recommend checking with your local customs office to avoid any surprise additional fees. If you should refuse the parcel, Novadown will not refund the original shipping charges, nor pay for any shipping costs associated with returning the parcel.
Any delays due to customs or couriers once parcels have left New Zealand, are beyond our control and whilst we do our best to ensure delivery is within the given time frame we are not liable for any delays that are out of our control.
Buying online can be a bit daunting at times, especially for high end products such as ours. You can’t see or feel the product and have to depend on descriptions, images and reviews to decide whether or not the product is right for you.

We believe in our products and are confident that you will love them as much as we do, but we also want to make sure that you are taken care of if, for some reason, our product doesn’t meet your expectations.

What does this mean for you?
If you receive our product and are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you have 90 days to return your product to us for an exchange, gift card or refund – the choice is yours. The only condition is that you return the product in its original state. That means it needs to be unused, unwashed and in its original packaging.
For exchanges – send off the item you wish to exchange to us (please follow the shipping instructions below). Once we have received and inspected the item, we will give you a call to arrange a payment/refund of the difference in purchase price before sending the replacement to you.
For returns/gift cards – send off your chosen exchange item to us (please follow the shipping instructions below). We will give you a call as soon as we have received the good to organise the refund or to send out a gift card.
Faults – Even though we take great care to ensure that our products are as near to perfect as possible, there is always a small chance that a product is faulty or was sent out incorrectly. If this should happen to you, please give us a call at 03 476 4221, so we can arrange pick up and replacement or refund.
